Prime Circle


Prime Circle is a rock band from South Africa and is currently based in Witbank, Mpumalanga. The band was formed in December 2001.They have been signed to EMI Music South Africa since the early part of 2008. Their first album, Hello Crazy World, sold over 45 000 units and their 2nd album "Live this Life" sold 20 000 units, making them the biggest selling South African rock act of 2003/2004/2005. Their second album, Live This Life, released October 2005 has also proved popular under the local public. In July 2006, a DVD entitled Living in a Crazy World was released, which featured hits from both albums performed live at The Function Room in Johannesburg.

Prime Circle has played at most major local concerts and have opened for the US based band Live on the South Africa leg of their Birds Of Pray world tour. In 2005, the band performed at the Nelson Mandela's 46664 concert. In Early 2006, they played alongside Metallica and other bands such as Collective Soul, Simple Plan and Seether at the Coca-Cola Colab events in Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town.

In June 2008 Prime Circle released their third and EMI debut album titled All or Nothing. 15 months later the band is celebrating platinum sales and an international tour roster filled with sell-out shows.
